National Accountability Bureau, Karachi has arrested two accused persons

Islamabad, June 04, 2015 (PPI-OT): National Accountability Bureau, Karachi has arrested two accused persons namely Badar Jamil Mandhro, the then Secretary Minorities Affairs, presently working as Secretary Excise and Taxation Department, Sindh and Khadim Hussain Channa, the then Director, Minorities Affairs, presently working as Director Anti-Corruption Department, Sindh.

The arrested accused being the members of the Departmental Selection Committee, Minorities Affairs Department, Sindh were allegedly found involved in illegal recruitment of 26 officers in the Minorities Affairs Department through illegal means after taking bribes and gratification. The accused persons patronized and appointed ineligible candidates, relatives and friends of politicians purely on nepotism in violation of laid down rules and merit.
