National Assembly Speaker and Deputy Speaker condemn attack on Quaid-e-Azam residency in Ziarat

Islamabad, June 15, 2013 (PPI-OT): Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Speaker and Murtaza Javed Abbasi, Deputy Speaker, National Assembly have strongly condemned the attack on Quaid-e-Azam, Residency, Ziarat by unknown miscreants, last night.

In their separate statements, the Speaker and Deputy Speaker termed it a shameful act which has badly hurt the feelings of the entire nation. They said that Quaid-e-Azam residency was a national heritage and monument where the father of the nation resided during last days of his life. “Its destruction is a huge national loss” they added. They asked the provincial government to apprehend the culprits involved in this dreadful crime and bring them to justice.

They also sympathized with the family of deceased security personnel and prayed of eternal peace of departed soul. They also prayed for early recovery of injured.
