National Refinery Limited’s notice of 170th meeting of nrl’s board of directors and closed period

Karachi, September 05, 2012 (PPI-OT): Notice is hereby given that the 170th Meeting of NRL’s Board of Directors is scheduled to be held on September 15, 2012 at Grand Hyatt, Dubai, at 10:00 a.m. to consider and approve the audited accounts for the year ended June 30, 2012 and declaration of any entitlement.

Mr. Zakir Mujahid Qureshi, Treasures, Telephone 35061544 has been deputed for transmitting the results of 170th Meeting of NRL’s Board to the Stock Exchange.

The results would be sent through fax to the Stock Exchange from the following numbers of National Refinery Limited (NRL): 021- 35061544 or 021- 35060876

In consideration of the fact that the meeting shall be held on Saturday, the company will communicate financial results on the next working day, i.e. on Monday, September 17, 2012 between 9:15 hrs to 9:30 hrs.

The Company has declared the “Closed Period” from September 05, 2012 to September 15, 2012 (both days inclusive) prior to the announcement of audited results of the Company for the year ended June 30, 2012 in terms of direction xxiii of the Code of Corporate Governance contained in the Listing Regulation No. 35 of the Exchange. Accordingly, no Director, CEO or Executive shall directly or indirectly deal in the shares of National Refinery Limited in any manner during the dosed period.
