New schedule for CNG stations’ closure in Sindh and Baluchistan announced

Karachi: Sui Southern Gas Company has announced a new schedule for closure of CNG stations in its franchise areas for the current week. According to a Press Release issued here, all the CNG stations in Sindh and Baluchistan will remain closed for 24 hours from 9 am on Wednesday 28 December till 9 am on Thursday, 29 December, 2011. Another closure will also be observed from 9 am on Friday 30 December up to 9 am on Saturday 31 December 2011.

This step is being taken by the gas utility to improve the line pack position all over its franchise area of Sindh and Baluchistan provinces, which has been badly disturbed due to increased domestic gas load during the current winter season.

SSGC realizes that while the customers are faced with an adverse situation, the Company is taking all actions to ensure uninterrupted gas supply and a stable pressure. In this regard, the management has requested all stakeholders to fully support the Company in handling low pressure situation more effectively.
