No gas for Power, Fertilizer and Industry in Jan 2012 – Alfalah Securities Limited

Karachi: In a meeting of the Cabinet, it has been decided that gas supply to the industrial, power and fertilizer sector would be suspended for the month of January, 2012 in order to ensure uninterrupted gas supply to domestic consumers due to higher demand in the winter season.

According to Alfalah Securities Limited anticipates that the current step taken by the government would continue till March, 2012 and after which gas supply to industries, power and fertilizer sector would be resumed.
