London, May 22, 2023 (PPI-OT): The Organisation of Kashmir Coalition (OKC) has condemned the holding of G20 meeting and welcomed the decision of People’s Republic of China and some other countries not to participate in the meeting in the UN-mandated disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The OKC Spokesperson in a statement issued in London said China has set an example for other G20 countries to respect the UN resolutions on Kashmir and aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
He said the recent changes unilaterally adopted by India should not hoodwink the international opinion about the disputed status of Jammu and Kashmir, adding India has virtually strangulated every voice and violated all fundamental freedoms and basic rights of the people of Kashmir. It is high time to recognise the necessity of resolving the lingering Kashmir dispute in the interest of regional and global peace, the Spokesperson maintained.
