Lahore, June 19, 2023 (PPI-OT): On the instructions of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the crackdown has been accelerated to arrest the absconding advertisers abroad. The Punjab Police team arrested the advertiser Yasir Imran, who fled to Kuwait after the murder, after the arrest of the said advertiser, the total number of arrested advertising criminals from abroad has increased to 39.
According to the details, Yasir Imran, a dangerous ad involved in the murder case, was wanted by the Punjab Police in Gujarat for 02 years. The Gujarat Police had issued a red notice of the accused Yasir Imran a month ago. The accused was brought to Pakistan with the help of Interpol and arrested further. The action has been initiated. IG Punjab congratulated the police team that arrested the dangerous advertiser, Dr. Usman Anwar directed to continue the crackdown for the arrest of the absconding advertisers involved in serious incidents and said that dangerous advertising criminals should be brought under the law. Punishment should be given.
