Operation to continue till terrorism’s eradication: Inspector General Police Sindh

Karachi, July 27, 2016 (PPI-OT):Inspector General Police (IGP) Sindh AD Khawaja on Wednesday said that operation will continue till its logical conclusion: the eradication of terrorism. While addressing Karachi Bar Association, AD Khawaja said that the extremists will never achieve their nefarious designs, adding that the personnel of law enforcing agencies will secure the life and property of citizens.

“Sindh police are taking all possible measures and utilizing all-out resources to protect life and property of people. We have demanded more resources in our recommendations sent to the government to enhance the security measures,” he added.

While taking up lawyers’ issues, the IGP directed his subordinates to redress the problems being faced by Bar’s officials and members. He directed relevant police officers to form Standard operating Procedure (SOP) with the suggestions of legal fraternity for the security of judges, courts and lawyers’ offices. He also directed foolproof security at the entrance and exit points of the court buildings. Additional IG Karachi Mushtaq Ahmed Maher, DIG CIA Sultan Khawaja, DIG Traffic Dr Ameer Shaikh, SP SIU and SP City were also present on the occasion.
