Meeting of Sindh Police Recruitment Committee held

Karachi, July 27, 2016 (PPI-OT):A meeting of Sindh Police Recruitment Committee was held here on Wednesday under presidentship of Additional IG CTD Dr Sanaullah Abbasi in which matters relating to recruitments of constables in traffic police were reviewed and necessary decisions were taken.

The meeting was attended by DIG Traffic Karachi Dr Ameer Ahmed Sheikh, DIG CIA Sultan Ali Khowja and AIG Security Sindh Muhammad Arif Rao Aslam. DIG Traffic told the meeting that we have received over 26,000 applications for the recruitment of traffic constables from all over the Sindh.

In the meeting, it was decided that one of the test service institutions will be selected for procurement, and later on, fee will be charged from the applicants for the physical and written tests. It was said that the details of the fee will be released through a press release.

According to the Sindh Police recruitment policy, the marks of written test will be 100 in which the marks of Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs and Islamiat will be 30 for each subject respectively, and five each marks of Urdu and English will be added.

Similarly, there are 50 marks of interview in which 30 marks for physical test. It was decided that all applicants of Traffic policemen’s recruitment will be informed about the test officially, and test is expected to be held in August this year.
