Islamabad, February 04, 2020 (PPI-OT): Senior Judge Supreme Court of Pakistan, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Umar Ata Bandial emphasized the need for more coordination among various pillars of the Criminal Justice System for successful functioning and sustainable results. He was addressing the participants of National symposium on ‘Criminal Justice System Coordination Framework”, jointly organized by the Federal Judicial Academy and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) here at the Federal Judicial Academy on Tuesday.
Hon’ble Judge of the Apex Court said, “Our Constitution provides the desired framework, but with improvement in our investigation, prosecution, coupled with improvement in data, record, analysis, and the consequent procedural shifts, we can make criminal trials more successful and curb crime and corruption from the society.” “We cannot achieve sustainable development without peace, justice, order, stability, effective governance based on the Rule of law,” he remarked.
