Karachi, Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited released its unaudited condensed interim financial results for the six-month period ending June 30, 2023, following a Board of Directors meeting held in Karachi on August 25. Despite navigating a challenging economic environment, the company’s financial performance is showcased through the following key figures:

Sales: Rupees 43,182,382 thousand, up from Rupees 112,624,614 thousand year-on-year.

Gross Profit: Achieved at Rupees 4,145,155 thousand compared to Rupees 4,209,581 thousand in the previous year.

Operating Expenses: A reduction in distribution and marketing costs to Rupees 1,121,100 thousand from Rupees 1,646,280 thousand, while administrative expenses amounted to Rupees 1,244,055 thousand.

Net Profit: Despite challenges, the company reported a net profit of Rupees 3,238,944 thousand for the period after tax, an increase from Rupees 442,989 thousand.

Earnings per Share: The earnings per share for the period stood at a basic loss of Rupees 117.58, compared to a loss of Rupees 0.21 in the corresponding period last year.
