Pakistan and Kazakhstan Agree on Maritime Trade Negotiations

Islamabad: Pakistan and Kazakhstan have agreed on maritime trade negotiations, joint ventures, and economic cooperation. Discussions are underway on a strategy to transform Pakistan into a hub for trade and transit through Karachi and Gwadar ports.

According to Radio Pakistan, the two countries have also agreed on measures to enhance cooperation in port development, transportation, and the maritime economy. There is also the possibility of investment in free zones for maritime services between Pakistan and Kazakhstan.
