Pakistan and Kenya Sign Free Trade Agreement to Boost Economic Ties

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Kenya have officially entered into a free trade agreement, aiming to foster mutual cooperation and enhance business and investment opportunities. The agreement is designed to contribute to the economic stability and growth of both nations while improving their positions in global markets.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the agreement delineates Pakistan’s plans to export products such as pink salt, marble, and cement to Kenya. Additionally, the trade in pharmaceuticals between the two countries is expected to see an increase. This development is part of the Special Investment Facilitation Council’s broader strategy to elevate Pakistan’s profile in international trade.

The implementation of this agreement is anticipated to lead to lower prices, the development of industries, and an increase in business opportunities for both countries, thereby strengthening their economic relationship.
