Pakistan and Saudi Arabia Explore Economic Ties at Jeddah Trade Forum

Jeddah: Pakistan and Saudi Arabia engaged in discussions to bolster economic cooperation during the ‘Made in Pakistan’ Exhibition and Business Forum in Jeddah. Federal Minister for Commerce, Jam Kamal Khan, met with prominent Saudi officials to explore ways to enhance trade and investment between the two countries.

According to a statement by Press Information Department, the minister held talks with H.E. Mr. Abdul Aziz Alsakran, Deputy Governor of the General Authority of Foreign Trade, highlighting the importance of boosting bilateral trade. H.E. Alsakran praised the exhibition for promoting Pakistani products and strengthening business links.

In another meeting, Jam Kamal Khan conferred with Mr. Hassan Moejeb Al-Huwaizy, Chairman of the Federation of Saudi Chambers, on institutional collaboration. The minister stressed the need for regular Business-to-Business (B2B) engagements to foster economic cooperation.

The ‘Made in Pakistan’ event, running from February 5-7, 2025, at the Jeddah International Exhibition and Convention Centre, features leading Pakistani companies and Saudi investors, showcasing industrial potential and exploring sector-specific opportunities.
