Washington DC: Pakistan’s delegation met with Alvarez and Marsal, led by Dr. Reza Baqir, former Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan, to explore strategies for restoring access to international capital markets and external creditors. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF) annual meetings.

According to Press Information Department, the discussion centered on approaches to re-engage with global financial markets, aiming to secure external financing and improve Pakistan’s standing with international creditors.
