According to a statement by Press Information Department, the Ambassador of Pakistan to Iran, Muhammad Mudassir Tipu, emphasized the long-standing nature of the conflict in Jammu and Kashmir, noting its impact on regional stability. He drew parallels between the situation in Kashmir and conflicts in the Middle East, suggesting that timely resolutions can prevent further escalation.
The Ambassador praised Iran’s role in raising awareness about the Palestine issue, calling for a similar international response to the Kashmir situation. He urged global leaders and organizations, including the United Nations, to press India to cease its actions in the region and resolve the dispute in line with international resolutions.
The event also featured a photo exhibition showcasing the situation in Kashmir, aiming to draw attention to the issue. The Ambassador expressed gratitude to Iran’s leaders and civil society for their support of the Kashmir cause.
