Pakistan Embraces Renewable Energy for Environmental Protection: Awais

Islamabad: Minister for Energy Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari has announced that Pakistan is transitioning towards renewable energy sources to safeguard the environment. This strategic shift underscores the country’s commitment to sustainable development and environmental conservation.

According to Radio Pakistan, during a discussion with UN Resident Coordinator in Pakistan Mohamed Yahya in Islamabad, the Minister emphasized the importance of renewable energy in mitigating environmental challenges. In response, Mohamed Yahya assured that the United Nations is prepared to provide both technical and financial support to assist Pakistan in this critical energy transition.
