Pakistan Engineering Council Partners with China for Engineer Training Exchange Program

Islamabad: The Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) has announced a collaboration with the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) to launch an intensive one-week training program aimed at young professional engineers. Scheduled for the third week of December 2024 in China, this initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance the international exposure, competency, and mobility of Pakistani engineers.

According to Pakistan Engineering Council, the training program is designed for engineers under the age of 35, who possess a minimum of five years of experience in fields such as Water Resources, Hydropower, Electrical/Energy Systems Engineering, and Hydraulic Engineering. Participants must hold a valid passport and be available to travel to China during the last ten days of December 2024. This partnership, under the framework of the Washington Accord, seeks to improve the professional practice and higher education opportunities for participating engineers.
