Pakistan International Airlines’ clarification on media reports

Karachi, November 12, 2016 (PPI-OT): It is clarified that media reports regarding laying off of 30% PIA employees as a result of closing down of airline’s town offices is totally baseless. PIA management is encouraging online sale of tickets that will reduce dependence on town offices, which will be gradually phased out. However laying off of employees is not on the cards.
