Karachi, March 21, 2016 (PPI-OT): Member of National Assembly and PPP Women Wing Sindh president Shagufta Jummani chaired the meeting of PPP Sindh Women executive committee, district and divisional Presidents at Karachi. The meeting decided to hold rallies and protests against the permission to allow Pervaiz Musharraf to travel abroad.

Shagufta Jummani said that we condemn the deal between PML (N) and Pervaiz Musharraf. This act of PML (N) will weaken the democracy in Pakistan. There are several highly sensitive cases in court against Pervaiz Musharraf including Benazir Bhutto assassination, 12 May carnage and Akbar Bhugti Murder.

She added that Pakistan people’s party and its leaders never make a deal against democracy. They prefer to stay behind the bars in fake cases but never compromise on their vision to serve people. On this occasion information secretary of PPP women wing Sindh Sharmila Faruqui said that PPP never bow down against dictatorship. PPP has sacrificed a lot to prevail democracy in Pakistan; therefore such non-democratic development from PML (N) is unacceptable. PPP women wing Sindh will never tolerate this. The meeting was attended by Shagufta Jummani, Rukhsana Shah, Hina Dastageer, Sharmila Faruqui, Khair-un-Nisa Mughal, Perveen Qaimkhani and other district and divisional presidents.
