Karachi, March 21, 2016 (PPI-OT): In an anti-encroachments operation carried out on the night between Sunday and Monday by KMC all encroachments in the Safoora area of University road were removed completely. The encroachers in the area had been warned that F.I.R will be lodged against them if they again established encroachments and the persons involved will be arrested for doing so.
The operation was taking place on the directive of KMC Administrator Roshan Ali Shaikh under the supervision of senior director Bilal Manzar which was also part of the beautification plan for University road from Jail Chowrangi to Safoora. KMC already begun taking measures in this connection. Meanwhile the anti-encroachments staff removed encroachments in Karimabad on Monday evening.
