Pakistan Reaffirms Commitment to Kashmiri Struggle, Says Defence Minister Khawaja Asif

Islamabad: Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, in a statement today to the National Assembly, underscored Pakistan’s unyielding support for the Kashmiri struggle against Indian occupation and voiced solidarity with the Palestinian cause amidst ongoing conflicts in Gaza.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Minister Asif stressed that Pakistan’s position on Kashmir has been consistent over the past 75 years, condemning the continued atrocities faced by the Kashmiri people under Indian rule. He denounced the actions of Indian forces in Jammu and Kashmir, describing them as brutal aggression against unarmed civilians striving for their right to self-determination.

The Defence Minister also highlighted the plight of Palestinians in Gaza, noting the large number of casualties and reiterating Pakistan’s support for their struggle. This statement reaffirms Pakistan’s stance on supporting freedom movements in both Kashmir and Palestine amid regional instabilities.
