Pakistan’s Ambassadors Designate to Syria and Yemen Call on the President

Islamabad: Dr. Irfan Yousuf Shami, Pakistan’s Ambassador designate to Yemen and Mr. Waheed Ahmed, Ambassador designate to Syria, today, separately called on President Asif Ali Zardari at Aiwan-e-Sadr.

Matters relating to their new assignments were discussed during the meeting.

The President felicitated both the designate ambassadors and advised them to focus on further strengthening bilateral relations of the country with the countries of their respective posting.
