Pakistan’s Economic Indicators Improving, Says Government Spokesperson Aqeel Malik

Islamabad: Barrister Aqeel Malik, Government Spokesperson for Legal Affairs, announced that Pakistan’s economic indicators are showing positive growth due to effective government policies, amid ongoing political tensions with the opposition.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during a news conference in Islamabad, Malik highlighted the affirmation of Pakistan’s economic stability by Fitch Ratings and the continuation of the IMF program as evidence that the nation is on the right track economically. He criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party for creating unrest, which he claimed has damaged both Pakistan’s economy and its international reputation. Additionally, Rana Ihsan Afzal Khan, Coordinator to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Commerce and Industries, emphasized that the Prime Minister and his team are diligently working to enhance the economic landscape of the country.
