Pakistan’s Envoy to Emirates assures Improved Consular services

Islamabad, July 01, 2012 (PPI-OT): Moving ahead with the plan to consolidate and upgrade consular services, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the Emirates H.E. Mr. Jamil Ahmed Khan on Sunday met with Balochi community of Pakistan in an open house.

While addressing the community members, Ambassador Khan announced setting up an information desk inside the consular section of the Embassy so as to better guide and advise the community on consular and community related services and problem resolution.

This would provide more convenience to the community in providing services which they rightly deserve, he stated.

Members of Pakistani Baloch community met Ambassador Jamil Ahmad Khan and requested him for resolution of their pending issues pertaining to NADRA and MRP wings. Ambassador Khan listened to the problems faced by the community and issued on spot instructions to manager NADRA and MRP for early resolution of the matters.

Ambassador Khan assured the visiting community members that all possible measures are being taken to take the standard of consular section to its new heights.

“Balochis are the oldest Pakistani community in the UAE and through their initial hard work, they contributed in paving way for large number of Pakistanis in finding their source of income. The contribution of our communities like Balochis and others, through their hard work, have attributed in the development of UAE; our brotherly country” stated Ambassador Jamil Ahmed Khan.

While commending the contribution of Balochis as one of the oldest Pakistani community in the UAE, Ambassador Khan informed the participants that Pakistan has the determination to resolve the grievances of Balochis in Balochistan who have the patriotic national feeling which even ‘father of the nation’ appreciated and acknowledged as a token of their contribution in creation of Pakistan.

The community thanked Ambassador Jamil Ahmed Khan for taking out his valuable time and hearing the problems faced by the community.
