PDMA Punjab Issues Alert Regarding High-Level Flood in Sutlej River

Lahore: Provincial Disaster Management Authority Punjab has issued an alert regarding high-level flood at Harike in Sutlej river.

According to Radio Pakistan, all concerned departments and institutions in Lahore, Sahiwal, Multan, Bahawalpur, and DG Khan are alert to deal with possible flood situation. Meanwhile, at Head Trimmu, the water discharge has reached 550,965 cusecs. Relief teams have been mobilized in the field to support flood-affected people.

According to Deputy Commissioner Jhang, food, shelter, and fodder for livestock are being provided to the flood-affected people.
