Khairpur, March 21, 2016 (PPI-OT): The Consul General of Switzerland in Karachi, Mr. Emil Wyss, during his visit to Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU) – Khairpur addressed students in a seminar on “Role of Peace in Nation Building and Sustainable Development” and said that peace is necessary for the country’s sustainable development. At the occasion SALU Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Parveen Shah, along with other dignitaries was present.
Later the Consul General visited the shrine of Sufi Saint Sachal Sarmast where he laid floral wreath, and offered prayers. Speaking to media, the Consul General said that Switzerland has high respects for Sindh’s historical Sufi culture.
