Karachi, October 31, 2019 (PPI-OT): PIA commenced its flights for the sector Faisalabad-Dubai on Thursday. The first flight PK 223 took off from Faisalabad Airport. The passengers of the flight were seen off by Rana Sikandar Azam, President Chamber of Commerce and Industry- Faisalabad, District Manager PIA Qaiser Iqbal, Passenger Sales Manager, PIA Bilal Ahmed and Ticket Office Manager Shahid Hussain along with officials of the airline.
PIA is now operating twice a week flights from Faisalabad to Dubai operated every Thursday and Saturday. PIA has increased flights on international routes and has introduced five additional routes in a week which include Sialkot – Kuwait, Lahore-Doha, Multan- Dubai, Quetta- Jeddah and Faisalabad- Dubai. The airline also plans to increase frequencies of its flights on domestic routes.
