PM Directives Ensure Prompt Repatriation of Pakistani Pilgrims from Iraq

Islamabad: Following orders from Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Pakistani authorities have successfully facilitated the return of Pakistani pilgrims stranded in Iraq, with the pilgrims safely arriving in Pakistan on two flights operated by Iraqi Airline.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister’s instructions prompted relevant authorities to take immediate action to ensure the prompt repatriation of the Pakistani nationals. Pakistan’s Ambassador to Iraq coordinated swiftly with Iraqi officials and airline representatives to expedite the process.

Furthermore, in adherence to the Prime Minister’s directives, necessary provisions including food and other essential services were arranged for the stranded pilgrims while they were in Iraq, ensuring their well-being until their departure.
