Islamabad, April 13, 2023 (PPI-OT): Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians and Jamhuri Watan Party have called for mutual consultations and negotiations among political parties to tackle the constitutional and political crisis. Addressing a joint news conference after their meeting in Islamabad on Thursday, alongside Jamhuri Watan Party leader Shahzain Bugti, PPP leaders Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani, Syed Naveed Qamar and Qamar Zaman Kaira said dialogue is the only way forward in a democracy.
They said they have consulted with Jamhuri Watan Party leadership today and will continue to hold talks with other political leaders in the coming days to defuse the political tension. Shahzain Bugti while welcoming the PPP’s initiative said he will consult with other Baloch leaders in Quetta and will re-convene a meeting in the next two days.
