Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has assigned additional portfolios to various federal ministers.
According to a notification of the Cabinet Division, Minister for Privatization Abdul Aleem Khan will also look after the communication division.
Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Chaudhry Salik Hussain will also supervise the Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony.
National Food Security and Research has been assigned to Minister for Industries and Production Rana Tanvir Hussain.
Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal will look after the affairs of Inter-Provincial Harmony, while Petroleum Minister Musadik Masood Malik has been allocated additional portfolio of Water Resources.
