Prime Minister directs Dr Asim to ensure uninterrupted Power Supply to Domestic Consumers during winter

Islamabad, October 19, 2012 (PPI-OT): Dr. Asim Hussain, Advisor to Prime Minister on Petroleum and Natural Resources called on Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf at Prime Minister’s House today.

Dr. Asim apprised the Prime Minister that he and his team were working on a winter plan as per directions of the Prime Minister for the upcoming winter season.

Dr. Asim also apprised the Prime Minister about the progress on negotiations carried out by his Ministry to import LNG and LPG to meet the energy requirements of the industry.

The Prime Minister directed the advisor to ensure uninterrupted supply of gas to domestic consumers while framing the Winter Plan. He also directed him to sensitize the general public about the Winter Plan through effective media campaign.
