Prime Minister Extends Electricity Bill Payment Deadline in Pakistan

Islamabad: In a significant relief measure, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has ordered an extension of the payment deadline for electricity bills by 10 days, aiming to ease the financial burden on consumers.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Power Division issued a notification today directing all electricity distribution companies to implement the extended deadline. This adjustment means that the due dates for electricity bills of July and August are now postponed by an additional 10 days, providing a longer payment window for consumers across the country.
