Prime Minister greets President of Kenya on Independence Day

Islamabad, December 12, 2013 (PPI-OT): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has felicitated the President of the Republic of Kenya, Mr. Uhuru Kenyatta, C.G.H, on the occasion of their Independence Day being celebrated on December 12, 2013.

In his message of greetings to the President of the Republic of Kenya, the Prime Minister said:

“It gives me immense pleasure to convey my heartiest felicitations to Your Excellency, the Government and people of the Republic of Kenya, on behalf of the Government, the people of Pakistan and on my own behalf, on the occasion of Golden Jubilee of Independence of Kenya.”

Pakistan and Kenya enjoy cordial relations based on understanding and commonality of views on matters of regional and global importance. I am confident that relations between the two countries will witness further growth in the years ahead to the mutual benefit of our two countries.

I would like to avail myself of this opportunity to express my best wishes for Your Excellency’s personal health, happiness and for the continued progress and prosperity of the people of the Republic of Kenya”.
