Punjab Cabinet approves ‘CM Punjab Laptop Scheme’, ‘Khelta Punjab’ program

Punjab Cabinet approved ‘CM Punjab Laptop Scheme’ and ‘Khelta Punjab’ program at this meeting in Lahore today.

The cabinet meeting, which was chaired by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, took several significant decisions focusing on environmental protection and public welfare.

The Cabinet approved amendment to the Provincial Motor Vehicle Ordinance 1965, increasing fines for smoke-emitting vehicles while it also launched initiative to combat plastic pollution by establishing District Plastic Management Committees.
