Multan: The Punjab government has unveiled a substantial Rs174 billion agricultural initiative aimed at safeguarding agricultural land from degradation, marking a historic first for the region.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the announcement was made by Punjab Minister for Agriculture Syed Muhammad Ashiq Hussain Kirmani during a seminar in Multan. He highlighted that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz introduced this groundbreaking package, which includes a master plan prepared for various cities to protect and sustain agricultural land. Minister Kirmani also emphasized the government’s dedication to introducing innovative practices in agriculture, guided by the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
