Punjab Public Service Commission Expands Recruitment for Creative Roles

Lahore: The Punjab Public Service Commission has announced an increase in the number of available positions for the roles of Assistant Director (Creative and Culture), Creative Designer, Senior Research Officer, and Assistant Director (Arts and Craft). Originally set at three, the number of posts has now been expanded to five, all available on an open merit basis.

According to a statement by Public Service Commission Punjab, the decision to increase the posts was made following a requisition by the Punjab Small Industries Corporation ICI and SD Department. The roles are offered on a contract basis for a period of three years. This update follows the initial advertisement published on November 29, 2023.

The update clarifies that while the number of positions has been adjusted, all other conditions of the original advertisement will remain unchanged. This development opens additional opportunities within the commission’s recruitment process, aiming to attract more candidates for these creative and cultural roles.
