Punjab University’s 120th Convocation today 885 degrees, 137 medals among top position holders to be distributed

Lahore: The full dress rehearsal of the 120th convocation of the Punjab University was held here at the Faisal Auditorium, New Campus here on Friday. Punjab University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran, Registrar Prof Dr Muhammad Akhtar, Controller Examinations Prof Dr Liaqat Ali, all Deans of faculties, Principles of colleges, Directors of Institutes, heads of Departments were present. PhD scholars and Gold medallists were called on stage to acquaint them with the proper procedure of receiving degrees/medals.

Punjab University’s 120th Convocation will be held on Saturday, December 31 at 10:00 in the Faisal Auditorium. Chancellor/Governor Punjab Sardar Muhammad Latif Khan Khosa will preside over the convocation in which 180 Undergraduates, 318 Masters, 258 MPhils and 129 PhD students would be given degrees, while 60 medals to Undergraduates and 77 medals to Masters students will also be awarded to the top position holders. Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran expressed the hope that the faculty members and participating students would do their utmost for the resounding success of the convocation in keeping with the past glorious traditions of this oldest and largest seat of learning.
