Biden Criticizes Xenophobic Policies in India, China, and Japan

Washington, US President Joe Biden criticized the xenophobic policies of India, China, and Japan, linking them to economic challenges in these countries during a fundraising event for his 2024 re-election campaign.

According to Kashmir Media Service, President Biden highlighted the role of immigration in bolstering the US economy and contrasted it with the economic stalling he attributes to xenophobia in other major economies. At the event, which also marked the start of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, Biden emphasized that welcoming immigrants has been a strength of the United States. He suggested that the restrictive immigration policies in countries like India, China, and Japan were contributing to their economic slowdowns.
