Removal of encroachments by Karachi Metropolitan Corporation

Karachi, April 23, 2014 (PPI-OT): The anti encroachments squad of KMC during ongoing campaign against encroachments razed two huge shops near Islamia College and recovered the precious KMC land. The operation was supervised by the Senior Director and Chairman Anti Encroachments Task Force Bilal Manzar whereas the Director Anti Encroachments Mazhar Khan and other officials were also present on this occasion.

These encroachments which were established on the KMC land were creating problems for the traffic and people in the area on which Administrator Karachi Rauf Akhtar Farooqui directed anti encroachments staff to take action against it. The anti encroachments squad also removed encroachments including all cabins and pushcarts near Qayyumabad Bridge and in Bahadurabad.

Meanwhile the members of committee for removal of encroachments at the site of Malir Halt and Malir 15 flyovers paid a visit to the area to observe the situation and submit its report the Commissioner and Administrator Karachi.
