Searle Company Announces Board Meeting to Review Q1 Financials and Annual Budget

Karachi: Searle Company Limited has scheduled a board meeting for October 30, 2024, to review its first-quarter financial statements and discuss the budget for the upcoming fiscal year, as per a notice sent to the Pakistan Stock Exchange. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the meeting will be held at Karachi and will also be accessible via video conferencing.

The agenda for the upcoming board meeting includes the approval of the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial statements for the quarter that ended on September 30, 2024. Additionally, the board will deliberate on the financial budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025. In line with regulatory requirements, the company has also declared a closed period from October 24 to October 30, 2024, during which there will be restrictions on the trading of shares by directors and executives.

This closed period is intended to prevent any potential misuse of insider information before the public release of the company’s financial results. The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan and the relevant departments within the company have been duly notified of these developments.
