Secretary visits Employees’ old-age benefits institution Hotel Project

Karachi, October 21, 2012 (PPI-OT):  Federal Secretary Ministry of Human Resource Development Mr.Muhammad Ahsan visited Employees Old Age Benefits Institution’s Hotel Project here at Lahore. Chairman EOBI Zafar Iqbal Gondal and PRIMACO (Pakistan Real estate Management Company) officials welcomed him at the Project Site.

 

The Employees Old-Age Benefits Institution under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of Pakistan is an organization responsible for payment of old age benefits to industrial, commercial workers in the light of Article 38(c) of the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

 

The Institution collects contributions from employers and employees and pays pensions to the millions of workers by generating income from investments in government securities, equities and Real Estates. To earn the maximum yield on the funds generated through collection of contribution , EOBI has formed a company PAKISTAN REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT AND MANAGEMENT COMPANY (PVT) LIMITED which is managing the construction of this mega project.

 

Chairman EOBI briefed the Federal Secretary about the project. Federal Secretary directed to complete the project before July 2014. He expressed his concern for the safety measures and visitors comfortability and asked the officials to build it and make it like a state of art for the hotel industry.

 

The meeting attended by Chairman EOBI, PRIMACO and EOBI’s officials at Project Site in Lahore.
