Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan sets up facilitation counters in Bahawalpur and Rahim Yar Khan

Islamabad: Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has established facilitation counters at the Bahawalpur and Rahim Yar Khan Chambers of Commerce and Industry to facilitate business community and enterprise in the region.

Information material and guides on company registration and post-incorporation compliance requirements have also been made available at the facilitation counters of both Chambers for facilitating investors and stakeholders at the facilitation counters.

Deputy Registrar, Company Registration Office (CRO), Multan has been deputed as a focal person to visit these Chambers and facilitation counters on a quarterly basis to meet promoters/ investor’s queries and promoting corporatization. His phone numbers are 0333-2154049 and 061-9200920.

These visits shall be made during the first week of each quarter, starting from October-December, 2011. The in charge, CRO Multan and designated officers have already visited Bahawalpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Rahim Yar Khan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

In addition, designated junior level officers from CRO Multan, SECP shall also be available at the facilitation counters of these Chambers during the annual returns filing season in November before the closing dates, to facilitate the companies in filing their statutory returns at their doorstep.

The SECP has plans to hold a series of seminars and training sessions at these Chambers, on a periodic basis, to create awareness on corporatization, incorporation procedure, post-incorporation compliance and eServices.

Tentatively, first such seminars on corporatization and eServices are expected to be held at the respective Chambers of Bahawalpur and Rahim Yar Khan in the third week of the current month.
