Sehrai urges world to take notice of Indian terrorism in IOK

Srinagar, July 08, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai has condemned the killing of three civilians including a teenage girl in Redwani area of Kulgam by Indian forces. Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai in a statement issued in Srinagar appealed to the international community to take cognizance of the appalling situation arising out of Indian state terrorism in Kashmir.

“The growing Indian aggression against unarmed and peaceful people in the territory has touched the alarm line and turned this beautiful place into a battlefield,” Sehrai said. Under a well-thought-out plan, the Indian authorities, forces and their henchmen are carrying out genocide, he added.

He said Kashmir has been turned into a killing field where the lives of men, women and even school going children are not safe. Lashing out at New Delhi and its local stooges for their fascist mindset, Sehrai said they have let loose a reign of terror against unarmed civilians. “Killings, torture, detentions and arbitrary measures will neither deter us from pursuing our mission nor break our resolve,” he added.

Paying tributes to Burhan Wani and other martyrs, he said their sacrifices will be written in golden words in the resistance history of Kashmir. “He will serve as beacon light for our movement,” he said. He also condemned the shifting of DeM Chairperson, Aasiya Andrabi and her two associates, Nahida Nasreen and Fehmeeda Sofi to Delhi, saying “Delhi and its stooges have gone so low that rhetoric of respect and dignity of womenfolk draws totally hoax when it comes to deal with our nation”.
