Senators and Parliamentarians meet the Prime Minister

Islamabad: Senators and Parliamentarians called on Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani at his Parliament House chamber and Prime Minister’s House today and assured him that after the return of President of Pakistan Mr. Asif Ali Zardari. The rumour mongering in the country would die down to the utter frustration of those who were pinning their hopes for capitalize on the fateful situation.

The Parliamentarians said that another Kings Party was emerging on political landscape of the country but its fate would not be different then the kings’ party made by the successive dictators in the past.

They believed that the civil society, media and other institutions of Federation were all for democratic dispensation in the country and therefore, caretakers, chair takers and technocrats would face the disappointment they deserve.

Rai Mujtaba Kharral, MNA requested the Prime Minister to inaugurate Syedwala Bridge built on Ravi River in his constituency.

Ms. Mahreen Anwar Raja, MNA said that Prime Minister’s recent speech in the Senate was both suggestive and meaningful in every respect.

Mr. Khanzada Khan, MNA requested the completion of OPF school in his area which was urgent requirement of the people.

Mir Dost Muhammad Mazari, MNA complained that inter-departmental meddling was hampering the pace of development. The Prime Minister directed that it must be resolved without any delay.

Syed Hamid Saeed Kazmi, MNA said that Azam Swati’s credentials were questionable and he turned against him because he could not get Ministry of Religious Affairs.

Mr. Tariq Tarar, MNA requested the Prime Minister to direct National Highway Authority to build interchange of Motorway at Khushhal Garh.

Mr. Aftab Shabban Mirani and Senator Syed Zafar Ali Shah said that completion of tenure by the Prime Minister would be good for the country and democratic process in the country.

Nawab Liaqat Ali Khan and Ms. Shagufta Jumani apprised the Prime Minister about the ongoing development projects in their respective constituencies.
