Islamabad, July 18, 2014 (PPI-OT): The Secretary General of Kashmir Tehreek-e- Khawateen (KTK), Shamim Shawl, has condemned the highhandedness of Indian rulers and their puppet administration against the women in occupied Kashmir.
Shamim Shawl in a statement issued in Islamabad deplored that the KTK Chairperson, Zamaruda Habib, was subjected to unprecedented violence by Indian police in Srinagar when she was leading a protest rally in Srinagar on Thursday.
She saluted the resolve of Zamaruda Habib and other KTK leaders and activists for raising voice against Indian state terrorism and urged the international human rights organizations, the human rights activists of India and all those who believe in peaceful protests to condemn the police action.
She vowed that such cowardly acts could not weaken the freedom sentiment of the Kashmiri people. She reiterated the Kashmiris’ pledge that the Kashmir liberation movement would be taken to its logical conclusions at all costs.
