SIFC playing active role to attract foreign investment in Pakistan: Ambassador

Pakistan’s Ambassador to Kazakhstan Nauman Bashir Bhatti says Special Investment Facilitation Council is playing an active role to attract foreign investment in the country.

In an interview, he said Kazakhstan has been invited to benefit from the favorable investment opportunities being offered by Pakistan.

Highlighting strategic location, the envoy mentioned that Pakistan provides the shortest route for Kazakhstan’s access to the Arabian Sea.

He said Pakistan remains keen to strengthen its connectivity with Kazakhstan in multiple ways and through multiple channels.

The Ambassador said a range of issues, including cooperation in various segments of the Trans-Afghan Railway connectivity initiative, have recently been discussed.
