Sikh Pilgrims Gather in Hassan Abdal for Baisakhi Mela Festival

Karachi, The Baisakhi Mela, a major Sikh religious festival, is being celebrated today at Gurudwara Panja Sahib with the participation of thousands of Sikh pilgrims from around the world, including a significant number from India. The event is a key annual gathering for the Sikh community, featuring religious ceremonies and cultural displays.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, over three thousand Sikh yatrees (pilgrims) have traveled to Pakistan from India via the Wagah border to join in the festivities. The event also sees participation from various minority leaders, underscoring its importance as a multicultural and religious assembly within the region.
