The delegation was led by the Chairman of the K Electric, Waqar Siddiqui. He said that attention should also be paid towards controlling line losses and bringing to end illegal connections (Kundas).

Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad Khan said that formula with regard to revenue collection was a good one as accordingly there is no load shedding up to 60 and 70 percent in the city. He said that the federal government would also be approached with regard to the problems of K-Electric and these would include supply of 650 MW to Karachi from WAPDA as well as tariff and others.
