Mahmood Ahmad Saghar, the Convener of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter, has acknowledged the significant contributions of the Human Rights Council of Pakistan in bringing international attention to the Kashmir dispute. This recognition came during discussions with a delegation from the Council at the APHC-AJK office. According to Kashmir Media Service, Saghar praised the Council’s ongoing efforts at both social and diplomatic levels to support the Kashmiri people’s inalienable right to self-determination. During the meeting, which included Hurriyat leaders like Sheikh Abdul Mateen, Imtiaz Wani, and Syed Ijaz Rahmani, the group discussed the continued challenges faced by Kashmiris under the policies of the Modi-led Indian government, likening them to Israeli tactics of oppression.
